The ad 120 smart detector was also tested by powering it up and monitoring its analog output on an oscilloscope. I would recommend doing a proper zero and known wave length calibration with proper light sources and alignment. For your consideration are a cm 8 meter monochromator, control keyboard, ad 120 smart detector photo diode detector with two sensors and power supply. But everything that I did test worked fine.
Also I was able to choose between either one of the two diffraction gratings, make unit changes, enter offsets, manually zero and calibrate it. Uses hamlets k1713 sensor ad221 silicon photo diode sensor. Items sold as is.
I did my best to describe the condition of the items. I was able to get transient peaks of 3v as I intermittently blocked the sensor from ambient light with my finger when the ad228 sensor was in sunlight. I did not get any noticeable response with the ad221 sensor. Has a 5 pin din connector, i'm not sure if this is factory or was added later.

Please look at pictures carefully and ask questions. Ad228 photo diode sensor. Buyer will need to zero it with a white light source and calibrate it with a monochromatic light source. Has electrical tape on the connector but seems to work just fine note I can only confirm that these devices functioned for the rudimentary tests described above.
Uses hamlets s1226 8bo sensor power supply for AD120. The cm 110 has been tested to the extent of powering it up where it initially runs an auto scan, then I typed in different wave lengths for the diffraction grating to move. Does not come with the cm 110 power supply but that is available from spectral products for contains two diffraction gratings.
